To Simply Curtain

I am quietly obsessed with linen its my go to fabric for almost everything.  I like its simplicity, its sustainability, the way it moves and crumples to perfection, I don’t think I could style my home without it especially when it comes to curtains.  I have a mixture of curtains and blinds in my house and they are all made from linen.  When it comes to the curtains I’m not overly fussed with linings or blackout fabric, I love it when the seasons change and the sun pours into our bedroom on a morning, waking me gently, especially on Summer mornings when the open window lets the breeze gently blow the linen making me feel calm.

The majority of my curtains are single panels that puddle onto the floor held in place with cafe clips, so simple and inexpensive. I take them down and wash them and put them back up the same day keeping everything clean and fresh.  Most of my curtains come from LinenMe but there are many fabulous brands that do similar things, East London Cloth and By Molle in particular, each having simple designs and easy online services that make it very simple to get that laid back look.

If you are wanting the similar look but a little more weighty then take a look at Tori Murphy, her curtains and blinds have a touch of elegance without loosing that lived in look.

Now all we need is for the sun to keep shining and my linen curtains to keep blowing in the breeze for weeks to come.
