Making Time
You may have noticed I didn’t write anything last week. I try very hard to work on my blog, if it weren’t for me starting writing it I wouldn’t be doing what I do today. That aside the last couple of weeks I have had work for clients that was separate from my weekly musings on here. Sometimes work comes in peaks and troughs, some work is relevant for me to use in this space and other times not. I think I mentioned in my fist post back at the beginning of the month that time is so very precious and the Winter months are for rest and rejuvenation. So I made the decision to not write anything at all last week. I write because I enjoy it but I don’t want it to ever become a burden.
So hopefully over the next couple of weeks I will be writing for myself, sometimes my mind goes blank and I haven’t got a clue about what to write about, like I mentioned earlier peaks and troughs. I’ve decided not to put pressure on myself to perform or be like others, there lies madness. I’m gathering my thoughts and compiling a list of things that I find inspirational and the interior trends I am loving at the current moment to bring to you in the coming weeks.
For now I shall leave you with some images I took this week of the neutral colours I am finding fascinating at the moment, I simply can’t get enough or the natural raw materials. If there is anything you would like me to write about or a subject that you are interested in I’d love to hear, leave me a comment and we can have a chat!

So inspiring! Sometimes not doing, and therefore giving the rest of us permission to also not do, can have more of an impact than pushing through and getting it done. If that makes any sense?
Love the photos, too.

Its true but so easy to do, it drive you insane!!
Its just good to say no and not worry about it, the world most certainly won’t end if I don’t post a blog every now and then. I totally understand what you mean Barb, so go slow and do it your way.
Have a great week. Jane x
