Beautiful Homes with Peagreen Locations

As you are all aware I adore interiors, everything about them, scrolling Pinterest, writing about them here on the blog, losing myself in magazines for hours, it’s my passion.  I’m very lucky to do what I do, but can you imagine running a lifestyle location agency with the most amazing homes on your books.  That is exactly what Peagreen Locations do, eat, breath, sleep interiors specialising in modern rustic and contemporary country properties with a portfolio of unique locations across the UK.

When you see the inspiring features in the magazines or that stunning home in a film most of them are real people’s homes. People who are part of a location agency just like Peagreen Locations.  How fabulous to have your home and interiors earn you a living just by having the right look.  I am truly fascinated by the world of interiors and know quite a few stylists in the business who find these wonderful properties but being able to go to one place and find the right location makes life a little easier.

Peagreen Locations are passionate about building close relationships with both the client and owners to make sure that all the projects run like clockwork, resulting in wonderful imagery.  Their ethos as a lifestyle location agency is to tackle everything with a fresh approach offering a carefully chosen array of beautiful homes.  Ruth and Maddy launched the business in January and have already built a rather impressive portfolio, with backgrounds working with Liberty, Harvey Nichols, Heals and most recently in Visual Identity at the National Trust they know a thing or two about making homes visually appealing for a lifestyle photography location.

Their handpicked selection of stunning locations focus on a distinctive style that is niche within the industry, Ruth and Maddy want to keep the family small, between 100 to 150 locations to be exact, their ambition is that 70-80% will be new to the market and the remaining properties will be those more experienced owners who have a been in the business a while.  They have a Modernist house in Buckinghamshire, a 17th Century farmhouse in Wiltshire that has been completely rebuilt in a contemporary country style together with a converted barn that is now a photography studio. We are also working with a Yeomans hall in Kent, Georgian and Victorian townhouses in Bath and RIBA award winning contemporary spaces in Suffolk. More properties are being added to all the time with a thread of modern rustic and contemporary country style running through them all.

It is so important to Ruth and Maddy that they know about every detail of every property so that they can match their client to the perfect location for their shoots.  Being effective and understanding to the needs of the clients brands will enable a successful location selection.

I find the whole process utterly fascinating and I’m amazed the work that goes on behind the scenes to create wonderful images that we pour over possibly on a daily basis.  Not only being in the locations business but to be a home owner who gets to see the whole process from start to finish is utterly fascinating to an interiors aficionado like me.  They bring true inspiration and have helped me shape my home over the years and maybe one day I could have my home on their books in years to come!
