September Moments

Simple corners of my home that keep me grounded when things around me are changing.  The last few weeks at the end of Summer have been focused on other things at home, work has taken a back seat for a while and I’m ever so grateful that I’ve been able to take this time to be here getting Ruby ready to fly the nest at the weekend.  It’s all been building up to this moment and tomorrow is the day we pack the car and drive her to University.

It has also made me think about the choices we have made over the last 18 years, I do worry a little about what I am going to do next week!  I get a little lost with what I want to achieve, what direction I want to go in as life changes around me.  I’m sure over time I’ll find that glimmer of inspiration and embrace whatever it is that comes my way.  For now calming corners in our home will ease me through this big change.
