A Passing

“Nothing you love is lost. Not really. Things, people–they always go away sooner or later. You can’t hold them any more than you can hold moonlight. But if they have touched you, if they’re inside you, then they’re still yours. The only things you ever really have are the ones you hold inside your heart.”

By Bruce Coville

Yesterday I lost a close friend who endured a short battle with cancer.  It took my breath away, dazed and saddened I couldn’t find the words for my usual post.

Life is so fleeting we must grasp it with both hands, my beautiful friend would most definitely tell me that.  I will miss her with all my heart.
