Autumn Moments

I’ve had a couple of super busy weeks and this week I’ve fallen short of taking images to weave a story.  So rather than rush I thought I would share some inspirational images that have helped me finally embrace Autumn.

I’m ready now for the heady deep colours that nature provide all around, the bountiful produce of this wonderful season.  The deep browns, through deepest darkest pinks to burnt umber and jewel like deep blues.

To cuddle up in cosy woollen blankets, cupping warming drinks planning small changes to interior schemes introducing those simple extra touches to add texture and warmth.

A weekend of being at home with my family enjoying all the wonder October brings and maybe a blackberry crumble will be made and devoured if we are lucky.

  1. Beautiful post as always Jane, lovely palette. It must be an autumnal thing as I pinned that exact same picture of the apples this week. Wish I’d had a blanket for the train journey this morning too!
