Hiding Behind Flowers

Gladioli

I’m not one for selfies you won’t see many photos of me but if I can hide behind something then you may catch a glimpse.

I do love gladioli, a slightly overlooked summer flower, most think of them as too bright and brash but these white ones are subtle and sublime and I’ve enjoyed peering through them.

From bright whites to a multicolour of pastels, hand picked sweet peas from Manor Garden flower farm.  We are lucky enough to live near to and know the owner Clarey who is a super star waving the flag for British seasonal flowers and foliage, sown and grown in the North East, blooms at their very best.

Ruby and I were caught giggling behind the sweet peas on our way home.
