Tea with Ruby & The Wedding Institute

My head is filled with all kinds of whimsy at the moment, I have a different hat for different purposes but this week I am wearing my mighty fine Wedding Institute creation.   As the proprietor of Tea with Ruby I have been kindly invited to take part in The Wedding Institute’s first affair on the 29th April at the Village Hall.   I had to dip my toe in the water of events sooner or later and thought that this was a rather good place to start, I do hope you all agree!

The Village Hall in all its splendour where the magic will happen

As the weeks tick by my inspiration grows for this marvellous collaboration of very talented folk from stationers, photographers, event planners, purveyor of all things that sparkle, cake makers, make-up artists, hairdressers and florists.

The aim being one of difference; a soupçon of nostalgia, simplicity, a moment to capture how your wedding day could look visually all under one charming roof by the seaside.

I have been doing a lot of this in preparation

Sourced some rather marvellous pieces for display that so happen to fit rather well into my home too!

I am also a guest contributor on The Wedding Institute Blog  posts here and here and it’s ever growing facebook page.  Oh yes we are blogging too didn’t you know, well you certainly do now.  I shall be popping in quite frequently and adding a touch of Tea with Ruby to the occasion.

The Wedding Institute is not only about the affair at the village hall on the 29th April no siree, this is just the beginning of things to come.  A place to visit for that little extra touch and dare I say it greatness, if I can be so bold?
