I do have a soft spot for a crackled glazed pot but this one is simply perfect. When India Jane got in touch with me recently they thought that this would simply work well with my style and oh how right they were.
This lovely handmade pot would make a super gift for Christmas, so I decided to fashion it in two ways. The first of course is the obvious choice planting it up with my favourite indoor plants, the fern and succulent. I think that both, if given as a Christmas present would be very well received. Within the store you have the choice of Firenze pots in different sizes and my favourite muted colour tones in off whites, greys and subtle greens. Gather them together on a pared back bare-wood table making for a beautiful display full of texture and simple style.
The second way would be to use them as a table centre piece through the festive period. Place a candle in the middle of the pot and pack around with moss and foliage. Display a selection down the middle of your table to create a beautiful statement as the candles give off their timeless glow.
Of course I couldn’t write this post without generosity of India Jane who as a family run home interiors business know a thing or two about styling. They have a slight edge on the usual interior store offering distinctive ranges of furniture and decorative accessories. Each store is decorated individually; filled with their in house designs by their team in London and talented artisans using traditional methods. India Jane also feature in national interior publications such as House & Garden, Homes & Antiques and the World of Interiors.
Who can resist beautifully handmade pots and candles at this time of year, I’m definitely inspired now to use more and more within my Christmas decorating in the coming weeks.
